TV and radio celeb proves just the tonic at Haringey retirement home's fete

TV and radio celebrity Roland Rivron ‘s cheeky playfulness put the fun in fundraising at a Haringey retirement home’s summer fete.

He was guest of honour as The Paddock in Meadow Drive, Muswell Hil , held an open day to which the public was invited recently and he had residents, staff and visitors smiling with his amusing quips and antics

The presenter, actor, writer, musician and Muswell Hill resident helped make the event at the home run by national charity MHA a resounding success.

The Holiday and Radio Rivron presenter and former winner of Lets Dance for Sport’s Relief said: “I really enjoyed the whole event. You have a great bunch of people at The Paddock.

And he added, “Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if there’s anything I can do for you.”

Attractions and entertainment during the day ranged from raffles, stalls, refreshments. sing-songs and games and raised a total of £234.

Also attending in an offcial capacity on behalf of Haringey’s Mayor, was Northerumberland Park Ward councillor , Kaushika Amin,

Paddock Manager Simona Machavova said, “It was a great success and brought residents and members of the community together. Residents had a wonderful time dancing, singing and playing games.”
